Mantra Merchandise Design

For this project, I chose a mantra that resonates with me and that I try to live by every day. I used typography to represent this mantra. I researched numerous typefaces by searching through type foundries to find fonts that matched the message of the mantra. I searched for handwriting-inspired fonts to convey the idea of a love letter being written. I also wanted to make my mantra playful, fun, and scrapbook-inspired. This typography exercise taught me how to search for typefaces in type foundries and conduct typographic research. I also applied my design mantra to merchandise, a postcard, and a hoodie.
