For this project, we had to construct a model of a structure for some public space. The structure has to be supported by elements of tension and compression. I wanted to create a sculpture that could be placed in a rooftop bar. I created a sculpture in the form of a body that looked as if it had a fabric cape flying out from behind it. This sculpture would, hypothetically, be in this elegant rooftop bar called Dear Irving which is in Manhattan. I wanted to make an artistic installation sculpture and for it to be dramatic and luxurious.
